Ready to Act: the Leadership Offsite
on Leadership, Organization, and AI

Two days for clarity: who decides what, where AI really helps, and what that means for leaders.

Let's talk about your offsite

Most offsites end with good energy, full flipcharts, and a list of resolutions. Four weeks later, day-to-day business is back, and with it the same alignment loops, escalations, and overlapping responsibilities. Now add AI: every team is trying something different, and nobody quite knows who owns what.

Built differently

It's not about vision or team spirit. It's about the mechanics of your organization.

How decisions get made, where ownership blurs, which structure actually carries your strategy, and what role AI should play in it.

What you take away

Your structure, made visible

A structure map of how your organization actually works today: where decisions get stuck, where interfaces create friction, where ownership is duplicated or missing.

Clear decision rules

For the questions that cost your team the most time today. Who decides, who is consulted, who is informed.

AI and the role of leadership

Where AI should support decisions, where it shouldn't, what knowledge needs to become accessible for it, and what leaders will do differently.

A shared language and toolkit

Concepts and methods to talk about structure, roles, and decisions, and to keep evolving them yourselves after the offsite.

A first experiment

Concrete, with owners, a timeframe, and criteria for how you'll know it works.

How it works

  1. 1. Preparation

Preparation conversations from which we develop the program together, tailored to your bottlenecks.

  2. 2. Offsite

Usually two days on site. Depending on your situation and team size, also as a compact single day or an in-depth three days.

  3. 3. Follow-up

Two reviews after 30 and 60 days to check what's working and adjust.

Who it's for

Leadership teams who sense that their structure no longer fits their size, strategy, or pace, and who want to treat AI not as a tooling question but as an organizational question.

Typical triggers

  • Growing into the next order of magnitude
  • AI is changing how work is distributed
  • New leadership team
  • Buyout or change of strategy
  • Post-merger integration

What I bring

Jens Thiemann

I have run business units with P&L responsibility, scaled development organizations across multiple sites, and carried out reorganizations together with works councils. So I facilitate your offsite knowing what a structural change means for an organization and the people in it. I draw on a large toolbox of methods, including from my work as Managing Partner of Management 3.0 and as a co-creator of unFIX.
